Growing Through Prayer – Our Kids’ Scary World
Lord,
Our kids are afraid, asking questions no child should have to think about. Am I safe at school? Will violence strike at any moment? Can I trust adults to take care of me? If God is good, why do kids get hurt? We grieve as they carry the fear of living in a broken world.
Bring comfort to our children today. Let them find hope as they trust in you, our Shield and Deliverer. Give them faith to believe you see them, love them, and never leave their side. Melt away their anxiety with your peace that is greater than we understand.
Amen.
