Why We Do What We Do
We know what it’s like to juggle marriage, parenting, and faith in the middle of real life. Over more than 30 years together and raising five kids, we’ve faced seasons of stress, distance, and confusion. But we’ve also seen God’s faithfulness bring healing, laughter, and renewed joy to our home.

Behind the books and microphones, we’re just two people who love coffee, bookstores, and Christmas music all year long. We laugh a lot, and we debate whether two dogs are enough and who should win The Voice every season.
We’re an introvert and an extrovert, a neat freak and a free spirit. But we both believe vows are for always, children are a gift, and prayer is powerful.

Rob Teigen
Rob Teigen is a national bestselling author and co-founder of Growing Home Together, a ministry helping families grow in faith, laughter, and lasting connection.
With more than two decades in Christian publishing, he has written over a dozen books, including the Laugh-Out-Loud Jokes for Kids series, which has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide and reached #1 on The Wall Street Journal and #2 on USA Today bestseller lists.
He has also co-authored devotionals and prayer books with his wife, Joanna, to encourage and equip couples and parents to bring faith into everyday life.
In addition to his writing, Rob is a speaker, marriage mentor, and adoptive dad, known for blending biblical wisdom with humor to strengthen families.
Rob and Joanna have been married for over 30 years and live in West Michigan, where they enjoy time with their five children and three grandchildren.

Joanna Teigen is a national bestselling author and co-founder of Growing Home Together, a ministry helping families love well, trust God deeply, and bring faith into everyday life.
As a podcast host, she partners with her husband, Rob, to share practical ways for couples and parents to grow closer to God and to each other.
Together, their books have reached more than a million readers around the world. Joanna’s titles include 101 Prayers for Women and 101 Prayers to Cope with Depression, guiding thousands toward God in prayer.
Through her own journey of marriage, adoption, and raising five children, Joanna has seen how prayer transforms hearts and restores connection in the home.
