On this day of gratitude and prayers of thanks, we think of you. We each share a love for our kids, receiving them as precious gifts from God. Our marriages are a love we fight for every day. This world is dark, but we’ve put our hope in the light of Jesus. You are a blessing we thank God for today—you’re our “family” in God who we’ll love for always.
Bless you in your Thanksgiving celebrations.
May the feast on your table and the loved ones seated beside you provide great joy. As you pause from your busy days to remember God’s goodness, may your spirits find gladness and rest.
Bless you in your pursuit of Jesus.
May you know to the core of your being how much you’re loved. We lift you up to the Father, “from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
“[We] pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
“And [we] pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:14-19)

We, too, are grieving dear ones who are gone. We miss those who are too far away in miles–or too deep in difficulty–to share the holidays with us. “Goodbye” and “grateful” share a delicate, painful dance on this day of thanks. May you find comfort in the arms of your Father and your family as you bear your loss today.
